this holiday season was super stressful, even without a job. i was able to make a lot of my gifts, and topped out at around $180. doesn't sound like too much considering that most of this went to the sides and desserts i took to the FOUR family parties i went to. i spent my holiday time giving and receiving the most thoughtful gifts ever, and haven't had an empty house in nearly a week. sure having a rotating door is some peoples idea of socializing, but i am a very reserved being who enjoys her space. with that said, it was wonderful to bask in the energies of my friends and family all year. thanks to one of my favorite solstice gifts from matty, i will be virtually purging the past week in pictures in this blizzog. most come from my baking adventures, lane's birthday party, the dogs after a morning of bathing, and day time sunbathing in their litter box. i'll be fleeing the city for auberry soon, so i guess i should just start my daily blogs in 2010- see you then, and cheers to you and your beloveds.
