i have this bag of hammers and i won't ask to come in

so i blew my post a day thing already... but i have super good reasons (as evidenced by the picture below)!! matty, nic, and i now inhabit a lovely 3bdrm/2bth with a yard. this time i decided to pick through all of my things before moving them, in addition to organizing. basically this means that a week after move-in, my shit is still everywhere. also, the constant storms of the past few days made my days lazy, and snuggly. yesterday though, was different; i've begun a new career as a canvasser. so i sat in the hail begging people to pay attention to me and hear what i have to say about homeless youth in LA... i must add, there is a LOT to say about homelessness in LA; like it's the homeless capital of the nation, 1/3 of these people are women, thousands are children ages 12-17, and 15-20% of homeless have a FULL TIME JOB. clearly i'm taken by this job. one more month to distract myself from letters, and all that foundational career stuff.
