thankfully, i'll have loads of time to watch the tomatoes grow until mid sept because i will be studying for my 3-hr human development test. there's a lot of incentive.... pass it or take another course. yeah, i'll go with pass.
things have been crazy aside from studying- i started my field placement as a family service worker, and i love it. i came home from training every day blabbing to matty about how much i'm learning. it's amazing how finding something you love affects your overall happiness. i feel happier, act happier, and everyone in my circle is increasingly happier.
and finally, proud partner moment of the week: top chef took home an emmy. that means that as people sat glued to their tv screen before going to bed on a sunday night, i was watching matty's boss' acceptance speech on a huge screen while drinking free top shelf drinks to celebrate the fact that my baby was holding his bosses emmy a foot away from me. tutt's has the strongest work ethic i've ever seen, and it's so nice to see some legitimate validation in the form of gold metal.
slowly cutting back on blogging... my flickr has become the new source of stories.
